I just officially registered for the 2012 NYC Marathon which will be held on November 4th, 2012 and I'm excited!!! I've only ever truly felt excited about running a few times and right now is one of those times.
As of the time of this post I have 10 months and 2 days to recover from my achilles injury train and run the NYC Marathon. That's a lot of time considering I only trained for my first marathon in probably less than 3 months. Leading up to the NYC marathon I'm planning on doing one other marathon TBD with TNT (Team in Training) to fulfill the commitment I made last year of running a marathon with TNT and raising a bunch of money for charity. I also plan on doing a few adventure races, one of which being the Tough Mudder New England. I might mix in a few other races as I continue training but as of right now that's what I plan on doing this year.
