One last update

So, we are getting ready to head out to the airport. Our bags are packed, our training is finished and we are hoping for the best. Two weeks ago we both peaked with 0ur long runs at about 20 miles and we have been tapering and resting up since then.

In case you are interested in following our progress this Sunday there should be a webcast of the finish line on the official Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon website on Sunday morning from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM (East Coast Time). http://www.rnrmarathon.com It might also be possible to follow our progress and get the times of our splits. Sam’s race # is 8546 and Jake’s is 8547. Sam is aiming for a finish in 3 hours 55 minutes (it should be between 1:30 and 2:00 PM est) which will be about 9 minute miles. Jake’s finish should be about 45 minutes to an hour later hoping for 10 minute miles.
